Number Two-Hundred-And-Twenty: Not Tired Of The Apple Tree

I took this photo while sitting under the apple tree today, trying to avoid a sunburn. Well; more of a sunburn after getting a bit of one yesterday. I'm just so enamoured of the blossoms on the tree this year. I wasn't taking as many photos at this time last year and so didn't get any shots of how pretty it is. I'm trying to make up for that.

I took the shot with Camera+, of course. That has really become my main photograph-taking app of choice. Then I rotated the picture, used the Clarity filter from the Scenes menu and finally the Sunkissed filter from the Effects menu.

Number Two-Hundred-And-Nineteen: Blossoming Further

The apple blossoms on the tree in the backyard are opening up and I love the delicate colours of them. I'm going to try to get another picture of them before they disappear.

I took the picture with Camera+, cropped it and used the Clarity filter from the Scenes menu to give it a bit more life.

Number Two-Hundred-And-Eighteen: Stylish

I recently bought this pair of sunglasses on a trip home when I was doing a fair amount of driving and finally admitted to myself I wasn't going to find the pair I lost a long time back. Essie decided to try them on today and had a great time modeling them for me. Lately when I take out the camera she immediately says, "Say 'smile'!" I don't correct her because that there is funny.

I took the pictures using the iPhone camera but had it off of HDR so they weren't great quality. I imported them into PhotoWizard and cropped them then used the Mixer 5 setting in the Cross Process filter to get this processed effect. After that I imported the pictures into Diptic and made a tetraptych out of them.

Number Two-Hundred-And-Seventeen: There's A Hole

This is a picture of a tree trunk that I took at Lake Ontario Park a few weekends ago. I loved how there was a little world going on inside the hole in the trunk.

I took the shot with the iPhone camera and imported it into Snapseed where I cropped it and used a Drama filter to highlight all the texture in the bark.

Number Two-Hundred-And-Sixteen: Umbrellas And Boots

Mom bought Essie an umbrella while we were at a dollar store the other day. It has elephants on it so I guess she couldn't resist. Essie loves the umbrella and insists on having it open at all times so she can have me hold it over my head and tell me I look pretty. Mom also bought Essie an adorable pair of ladybug rain boots a while back and the current weather necessitates them for backyard playing.

I took all the pictures with Camera+ and edited them all using it as well. Then I selected the three I liked best and brought them together in a triptych using Diptic.

Number Two-Hundred-And-Fifteen: Hello Spring

Blossoms on the apple tree in the backyard. I really look forward to it dropping its apples on our heads again this summer.

I took the shot with Camera+ and cropped it, then used the Clarity filter from the Scenes menu and the Vibrant filter from the Effects menu.

Number Two-Hundred-And-Fourteen: Colourful Wallpaper

Today's piece is a callback to Day 151. I wanted some more pictures taken through the friendship ball for another project I'm working on and this was one I ended up making into a wallpaper for my iPhone. The beauty of this is that you get an amazing range of colours just by moving your camera a few centimeters. I wanted something with a darker feel to it than this bright, toy-like result.

I took the pictures with the iPhone camera (with the HDR turned on) and then imported it into Camera+ where I used the Vibrant filter from the Effects menu. I love the primary colours in this one.
