I didn't really notice the rose hips last year but this year they're kind of weirding me out. I'd heard the term 'rose hip' and just kind of figured it was an herb that was named after roses… or something. I didn't know that roses make fruit! It's a good weird. I like learning stuff like this. My favourite thing about them, though, is how spidery and strange they look after the roses are gone.
I took the picture with Camera+, cropped it and used the Backlit filter from the Scenes menu.
