I took this picture a few days ago under the oak tree in the front yard. Essie is very good at playing alone, always making up songs and stories and dances and games and keeping herself pretty well amused. This day, though, she asked me to come sit under the tree with her so I could hear a story. I brought a chair over and she perched on this large stone, an apple from the backyard in her hand. She asked me if I was ready and then began: "Once upon a time there was a shark…"
It was the best story I've ever heard.
I took the picture with Camera+, cropped it, used the Shade filter from the Scenes menu and the Nostalgia filter from Effects.
